OF-1600 Oil on Water Monitor

This instrument is installed 0.5m above the water level. It automatically detects oil films floating on the water surface. It is able to provide early detection of oil leakage or oil spills. Detection is based on LED light source.  Some features of this instrument include:-.
Capable of detecting virtually all types of oil.

• High luminescence, long life LED light source.
• Electrically pulse modulated light source, immune to the effects of external light
• Non-contact monitoring.
• Small, compact and light weight design for ease of installation and maintenance.

• "Undetectable" signal when reflected light is so weak that oil film cannot be detected or the light is blocked by floating matter.
  
• Peak hold circuit eliminates interference effects of non-oil solids floating on the water surface as they pass across the monitored surface (e.g. domestic refuse).
• If solids become trapped on the monitored surface, the instrument will generate an "undetectable" alarm.
• In addition to oil film detection signal, an output is available for connection to a recorder to record oil-film generation
